Motobu-ryu Udun Bujutsu
Motobu Gotente, a unique Okinawan martial art created by the Ryukyu royal family.
Introducing the secret techniques learned from master Seikichi Uehara.
Seikichi Uehara was the 12th headmaster of the Ryukyuan royal family's secret Motobu Goten-te, and was respected by many martial artists for his outstanding skills. His martial art was to defend the king by invariably surviving against a multitude of enemies, not striking each other, but moving fluidly and conquering the enemy in an instant. His profound art, which combined handling and attack, was known as the Bu no Mai (dance of the warrior).
Moritoshi Ikeda, who studied under Seikichi Uehara for 27 years until his death, and who has continued to work exclusively in the transmission of the Goten martial art of the Honbu school, systematically introduces the martial arts he learnt from his teacher in this film. The film presents a system of body techniques, as well as weapon techniques that use all kinds of objects around the body.
