International Shotokan Karate
International Shoto-kan was founded in 1978 by Hirokazu Kanazawa, who learnt karate from Gichin Funakoshi, the founder of modern karate, and left many legends in the karate world. With his theory-supported techniques and teaching based on the 'philosophy of harmony', he played a major role in the worldwide spread of karate-do. One of the largest martial arts organisations in the world.
